Pathways Outdoor trainers The body of the team comprises trainers and instructors dealing with outdoor training at Pathways, individuals who implement programmes for: Aventis Pharma Poland, BP Poland, British American Tobacco, Cargill Polska, Commercial Union, Danone Polska, Ernst & Young, IMS Health, Schering A.G., Siemens, Opel Polska, Polska Telefonia Cyfrowa, Telekomunikacja Polska, Unilever and many other companies.
30 years old. He has been co-operating with Pathways since 2000 as a trainer and consultant, a physiotherapist by profession. His experience includes work as: a sport climbing instructor, junior assistant at the University Hospital in Krakow and three years of work in a pharmaceutical company. Furthermore, he has completed the first phase of the "Gestalt Counselling School" at the Gestaltowski Institute of Education and Personal Development in Krakow. In his free time he is an enthusiastic snowboarder, rock climber and traveller.
30 years old, with a university paramedical educational background, since 1998 a logistics specialist and negotiator at Pathways, an author and implementer of exciting training programmes. An expert in mountaineering, speleology, ski-alpinism. He also specializes in parachuting, swimming, mountain river canoeing, riding mountain bikes, sailing, windsurfing and survival.

36 years old. He has been working at Pathways as a logistics specialist and organizer of all types of training since the company's inception. He is a climber, snowboarder, sailor, ski-mountaineer and skiing instructor. A participant of expeditions to distant uninhabited areas of Asia and Africa. A co-author of new routes in the mountains of Morocco, Mali, Madagascar and Jordan. He likes adventure and strongly recommends it to everyone.
31 years old. A graduate of the Krakow University of Physical Education. He has been co-operating with Pathways since the beginnings of the company. A keen sportsman from his young days, he practices many disciplines of sport - from cross-country racing, through diving, sailing, parachuting, ski - alpinism, climbing and off-road car crossing rallies, a WOPR lifeguard and a mountain rescue trainee for the Beskidzka GOPR Group. The following people have been co-operating with us on a continuous basis:
34 years old. He has been canoeing since 1990. A former trainer and president of BYSTRZE Academic Canoe Tourism Club. A Vice-champion of Poland in the Polish University Championships in Mountain Canoeing. A Champion of Poland in the Bia³ka Rodeo 2000 canoeing rodeo. A participant of many kayak/canoeing trips to various places in Europe, amongst others to the rivers of France, Corsica, the Italian, Slovenian and Austrian Alps. The founder of the RETENDO Mountain Canoeing School.
31 year old. A professional mountain and ski guide. A Tatra guide, a climbing instructor, one of the very few Poles possessing an international UIAGM guide license allowing its holder to work as a guide practically anywhere in the world. He has climbed in the Tatras, the Dolomites, in many areas of the Alps as well as in the United States and in China. His achievements place him at the very summit of Polish mountaineers.
38 years old. By profession a hydro-biologist. A graduate of the Jagiellonian University's Department of BiNoZ. He has been involved in diving and underwater photography since 1989. He is also a CMAS and PADI diving instructor, an underwater photography instructor. The co-founder, and from 1997 an employee, of the "Nautica" Underwater Tourism Centre. He leads regular tourist diving trips in Egypt, Spain, Malaysia. In the summer he runs - as the head of training - the Nautica diving centre in Croatia on the island of Hvar.
27 years old. He has been diving for 10 years and co-operating with NAUTICA since 1997. Commencing with the beginning of 2001 he has been its employee, therefore he earns his living by diving. He has been a M1 CMAS scuba diving instructor since August 2000 and since October 2001 a PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor. In 2001 he received the qualifications of movement and recreation instructor for the specialization of scuba diving. He dives approximately 200 times a year. Furthermore, since 1998 he has had the license of a Motor Boat Helmsman. As one's life does not only consist of diving, he also likes taking photographs and riding his motor bike. He has reached the stately age of 40 and is still very much in good shape.
28 years old. He has co-operated with Pathways many times during the organization of integration training as an expert in the field of outdoor classes and events. An extreme, many a time honoured sport climbing competitor. He has taken part in exploratory climbing expeditions to Mexico, Cuba and Jordan.
33 years old. A graduate of Geology at the Jagiellonian University, an instructor of the Polish Alpinist Union since 1996, he runs his own School of Rock Climbing. Since 1994 a co-organizer (mainly as a route establisher and judge) of several dozen competitions in sport climbing in Poland. A trainer and activist in the "Korona" Sports Club in Krakow and indeed a very active rock climber.
33 years old and has been climbing since 1985. He is an instructor of the Polish Alpinism Union as well as a teacher and translator of German. A versatile climber who has pit himself against many a rock and snow challenge. He runs his own private school "Climbing & Adventure".
38 years old. An instructor of the Polish Alpinism Union. A few years ago he gave up the work of a manager and now he exclusively trains enthusiasts to climb rocks and the Tatra mountains - both in the summer and winter. The same goes for the Alps and the Dolomites. In his free time he leads trekking expeditions in Black Africa and not only. So far he has covered about a thousand summer and winter climbing routes in the Tatras, including several of his own, and more than a hundred routes in the Dolomites and the Alps. |
